Brian Andreas and Story People

"Everything changed the day he figured out there was exactly enough time for the important things in his life. "

I learned about Story People at a home that had prints posted throught the lovely house. Next, I found two prints for my self at a ridiculously low price at our Habitat for Humanity resale shop, The Village Store. Since then I've subscribed to their daily emailings and enjoy the humor and the drawings. I've given prints for gifts. I never tire of Brian Andreas' musings.

Glory and Praise

In the 80's I purchased the recordings of all the Glory and Praise Hymns and played them when I was working around the house. I don't believe they are used so much today but this was one of my favorites that I was able to find on line.

Just below is the Hymn, On Eagle's Wings which was played at my Daddy's memorial service. I didn't realize until I came across it that today is the anniversary of his peaceful passing in his sleep in 1983. It was quite touching to hear and see this video as the sun was coming up over my shoulder.

My first slide show

I had taken a video of the cutest little goat at one of the places where I work. After I uploaded from my camera it was missing:( So I put together some of my photos from the last few days and added some music from some CD's I'm uploading. Here's the result:) I guess it should be titled Things I like about my work

Big Excitement in Wimberley Square

So there was a big traffic jam going past the town square. It wasn't Market Days. Well here's what we all saw......(by the way no one was harmed during the making of this event, just extremely surprised.) It was a new way to have a town gathering at the Wiumberley Cafe.

THE WIND

I would be

What would be?

I would be wind ...

To be free ...

To touch you

And you embrace

E, mansinho

You reach me

And you whisper

How like you ...

And slowly

Slowly

Would you toying

And you might notice

I was there ...

The wind

Grew

And even with force

I would like to be ...

To see

The strength that I have ...

Wind strength

Wind Typhoon

And I ...

Have you ...

Always in my hand.

This beautiful poem was just a comment from the blogsite llinked here.
I can see why she leaves her poetry as her commentary.
Mr. Lee has been gifted with extraordinary artistic talents.
I found his website after he visited mine....
